New York, 1973. Apollo and the Shades, the Glam Rock band with millions of albums sold, bids farewell to its audience with a series of concerts at Madison Square Garden.

In its wake, fans, groupies, and… murders.

“Until 2006, I was convinced that groupies no longer existed in our era. Then I encountered them in the flesh backstage after a Guns N Roses concert in Paris. That’s when I had the intuition that it might be interesting to tell their adventures. My first notes about this project date back to 2013. While the main plot remained the same, the script and characters evolved to become Apollo & the Shades. It’s a lengthy process for an aspiring writer like me. Indeed, it’s the first time I’m independently creating a comic book from start to finish, and it’s a real challenge! I hope you’ll enjoy the result. »
